My First Sweater
Is it a vest? Is it a shrug? Whatever you call it - it’s adorable.....and if you can knit and purl, then you can make your first sweater. Knit in one piece, you will learn how to increase and decrease and finish it professionally using the mattress stitch.

Finishing Class Saturday, April 24th 8:00-10:00a.m. $20
In this class you will learn the mattress stitch, how to pick up stitches properly, weaving in ends, etc. Homework required: Two knitted sqares in stockinette stitch (4”x 4”).
Supplies needed - contrasting yarn and darning needle.

In this beginning crochet class you will learn how to chain, single crochet, double crochet, increase and decrease. Then, we will jump right in to your first project - just in time for summer - a re-usable market bag.
Supplies needed - Peaches ‘N Cream Kitchen Cotton and Size “H” crochet hook
